These guidelines outline how creators must disclose sponsored content or brand relationships when participating in the Panel Partner Program. Adhering to these standards ensures transparency, legal compliance, and builds trust with your audience.

1. When You Must Disclose

You must clearly disclose any material connection when:

  • You are paid, gifted, or otherwise compensated to promote a product, service, or brand.

  • You participate in a Panel Program or campaign, even if the brand doesn’t require specific messaging.

  • You share affiliate links, product tags, or promotional codes that generate income for you.

  • You discuss a product or service you received for free (e.g., PR package, trial access, etc.).

Material connection = payment, commissions, free products, discounts, or any brand relationship.

2. How to Disclose Properly

Disclosures must be:

  • Clear: Use simple language like “sponsored,” “paid partnership,” “advertisement,” or “#ad.”

  • Conspicuous: Don’t hide disclosures in long captions, low-contrast fonts, or buried in hashtags.

  • Immediate: Make sure the disclosure appears before or at the start of your content.

Examples of acceptable disclosures:

  • “This video is sponsored by…”

  • “I partnered with [Brand] to bring you this post.”

  • “Thanks to [Brand] for the free product!”

  • “#ad” or “#sponsored” (if prominently placed)

Unclear or indirect language is not acceptable, such as:

  • “Thanks to [Brand]!”

  • “Made possible by…”

  • “In collaboration with…”

3. Where to Place Disclosures

Image-Based Platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat):

  • Overlay the disclosure directly on the image or video.

  • Make sure it’s easy to read and stays on screen long enough.

Videos (YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok):

  • Say the disclosure out loud and show it visually on screen at the beginning.

  • Don’t rely solely on the description box.

Live Streams:

  • Verbally repeat the disclosure at intervals (e.g., every 15–30 minutes).

  • Display it visibly on screen throughout the stream if possible.

Text Posts & Blogs:

  • Include the disclosure at the top of the post.

  • Do not place it only at the end or behind a “read more” button.

4. Additional Guidelines
  • Only promote products you have actually used or genuinely endorse.

  • Do not make exaggerated or misleading claims—any statements must be truthful and verifiable.

  • You are responsible for complying with both Panel’s policies and the platform-specific rules (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).

5. YouTube Compliance
